Having previously acted as First Assistant and Filmmaker to Nick Knight at SHOWstudio.com, based in London, I now work under a new guise {Un}titled as a Filmmaker, Photographer and Creative Director. 2012 saw my solo Directing debut for Fashion Designer and Haute Coiffeur, Charlie Le Mindu. The film screened as part of London and Paris Fashion Weeks, and further nominated and screened at La Jolla Fashion Film Festival in California, Berlin Fashion Film Festival and finally Diane Pernet's Festival ASVOFF 5, at Centre Pompidou, Paris. Having being named as one of photographer Rankin's 'Dig the New Breed' of Fashion Filmmakers in 2012, I regularly contribute to Dazed Digital, i-D online and Wonderland Magazine. I now also act as a University Tutor part-time across the Manchester School of Art.

Fashion Revolution Day has been initiated by a global board of industry leaders, campaigners, press and academics from within the sector and beyond, who see the tragedy at Rana Plaza in Bangladesh as a metaphorical call to arms.

#insideout  tweet it, link it, like it, share it

We want you to wear an item of clothing inside out because we want people to change the way they look at the clothes they wear. Be curious.

We want you to start asking ‘who made my clothes?’ in order to initiate human connections throughout the supply chain. Find out.

We want hundreds of thousands of people to make that gesture which will, in turn, raise awareness within the fashion industry that they need to continue the process of change. Do something about it.

Please join us on 24 April 2014

to help make this happen!

"Fashion is part of the daily air and it changes all the time, with all the events. You can even see the approaching of a revolution in clothes."

refashioner:

Generally, most people are into the idea of sustainable fashion: purchase clothing that doesn’t destroy lives, or the earth. But sadly most people (logically so) are also interested in looking good, and not like a crusty hippie that was chained to a tree all night (unfair stereotype of eco-fashion, but it’s all changing!).
Fortunately, eco-fashion brand Chinti and Parker has just teamed up with creative studio Patternity to create a collection of sustainable knitwear with patterns inspired by architectural design elements.
Designs feature polka dot sweaters, geometric shapes, grids and building facade prints, in a monochrome scheme of black, white, gray and mint.
As a celebration of this collection launch, the designers teamed up with filmmaker Zoe Hitchen to showcase how surly New Yorkers can stand around in this collection, while looking really cool and caring about conscious fashion.
